For over 25 years, the Bay Film Series has celebrated the art of film-making, showing the best in local, international, documentary, and independent cinema at Bay College.

Films are shown at 7:00pm ET in the Besse Theater – Building 700, 2001 N. Lincoln Rd. Escanaba, MI.

Tickets are available at the Box Office located on Main Campus or online. Visit or call the Box Office at 906-217-4045 to purchase tickets.

Admission is $5 for the public and K-Bay $2*
*K-Bay includes any students in Kindergarten through Bay College and Bay College employees. Bay College students and employees will be asked to show their Bay I.D.

Oct 19 – Black Ice

Everyone knows that hockey is a vital aspect of Canadian identity.  But unknown to most is how internal racism has affected players of color, denying them opportunity and entry into the sport throughout its history.  This Canadian documentary uses interviews, history, news footage, and more to weave history to today’s NFL. calls the film “an icebreaking expose.”
