The Bay Film Series marks its 21st year at Bay College celebrating the art of filmmaking by showing the best in international, documentary, and independent cinema. On March 2nd, the Film Series will collaborate with Bay College’s Diversity Committee to show the documentary Warrior Lawyers: Defenders of Sacred Justice, by Michigan filmmaker Audrey Geyer, and discussion to follow.

This documentary is about Native American role models, Nation Re-Building and Tribal Justice. Through the personal and professional stories of American Indian Attorneys, Tribal judges and their colleagues, the program provides an overview of the major historical, governmental, legal, judicial and intertwining social justice issues shaping many Federally  Recognized Nations today.
